Intense moisturizing hair care with honey and banana

Today we’re taking care of our goddess mane

For healthy hairthere‘s no secret to trimming the ends regularly and multiplying the treatments!

As hair is sensitized by our environment (pollution, friction, sun, fatigue, stress, etc.), it needs rich, nourishing care, but above all: moisturizing.

And nothing is ever as productive as natural, homemade skincare!

Today, a treatment that brings together two hair care essentials: honey and banana!

Honey has strong moisturizing properties, making it an excellent hair care product!

All hair needs hydration, whether it’s dry, oily, curly, frizzy or straight… honey is perfect for everyone!

Bananas:

Moisturizing too, and rich in vitamins A and C, bananas are also a staple of homemade hair care!

They can be combined in many hair care recipes, but this time we’re doubling our hydration by combining them.

Recipe:

We mash a banana with a fork or blender – a whole one for long hair, and half a banana for hair above the shoulders – until the texture is almost liquid, then add 3 tablespoons of honey.

Blend until smooth and even, if necessary, add a small amount of vegetable oil (coconut, olive, jojoba, argan, avocado…).

On detangled hair, we apply our mask from roots to ends, insisting on the ends. We cover the whole with our very chic shower cap or with cling film (the heat will open the hair scales and help the treatment to penetrate) and we leave it on for as long as possible, 20 minutes minimum, but 2 hours is even better.

Once rested, the mask is removed with a gentle shampoo, sometimes two washes are necessary, and don’t worry, since honey is rich in sugar, it can feel as if your hair is going to be impossible to detangle. Once rinsed, it will melt under your fingers with no worries!

Apply your conditioner, rinse again and admire the result!

There’s no need to spend a fortune on our treatments, your hair is soft, shiny and moisturized, and your lioness’ mane is yours!
