Creating an act is often a long adventure involving inspiration, fantasy and motivation.
There’s always a story, a meeting, a love at first sight for a fabric, a photo, a piece of music, an accessory… and then it all begins, the ideas accelerate and you can already imagine yourself on stage… but from this daydream, you’ll need a good dose of motivation and a lot of passion to end up with an act!
You’ll need to find the right suppliers and talented people to help you. Then began the long stroll to the Marché St Pierre, the doodles in little secret notebooks, the haberdashers with their thousands of rhinestones, the websites, the boutiques of all kinds … at that moment everything inspires you, you’re completely immersed in creation, you feel that anything is possible and that you’ll do anything to achieve it!
If all goes according to plan, I’d say it takes between 6 months and a year to produce an issue. This period can be shorter, of course, depending on the idea.
Many of us create our own costumes, or just customize them, for hours on end, spending nights gluing our rhinestones so that they shine with miles of fire on stage, then rehearsing and rehearsing and rehearsing.
