Tips for organizing a successful EVJF!

We meet many groups at Olala party events, and we know from experience that organization is often more complicated than you might think…

Steps to a successful EVJF!

Defining roles: The best man is often the person responsible for organizing the day. However, don’t hesitate to appoint a second person with whom you can share the tasks. It’s important that the rest of the group respects your role, especially if there are a lot of you, or if you live in several cities.

Organization: Organize a meeting with the participants, and if you’re not all in the same city, get the phone numbers and e-mail addresses of each participant. Try to organize the event 6 months in advance, to make sure you have the best activities and availability. Then send an e-mail to introduce yourself and suggest a date that will suit the bride-to-be and the whole group. To avoid last-minute problems, propose a validation deadline to participants.

The choice of activities: This is an important subject, as the activities must above all appeal to the bride-to-be. It’s a day to remember.

The budget: Define in advance how much each person wants to spend on the day, and set up a fund in advance. This sum will enable you to make your own choices in terms of activities and organization of the day. This way, the organizer can pay for each activity without having to advance the money, or in the worst case, pay for last-minute absentees. Having a single point of contact for settlements avoids many problems.
